The Workshop was organized by the School of Management at St.Petersburg State University, Russia, in cooperation with the Institute of Management, Innovation, and Organization at W.Haas School of Business, the University of California, Berkeley.

Over 50 leading researches and practitioners from 8 countries have participated in the meeting. Dr. Valery S.Katkalo, the Dean of the School of Management, and Mrs. Susanne Campbell (W.Haas School of Business) have given opening addresses. 25 papers presented at the meeting were scheduled for two days of dedicated discussions within the conference body. The Workshop Proceedings volume including 27 papers was available at the meeting.
