Here L. V. is in Cinema House, which is a kind of club for cinema persons, and used
for various occasions by Moscow society. That time the Central Economic-mathematical Institute
celebrated 40 anniversary of victory in the War.
Kantorovich stands between two younger economists - Nikolas Petrakov (left) and Stanislav Shatalin (right). Both of them became members of the Academy of Science. Shatalin was also a student of the "6th course". Later he teached young Moscow economists, including Egor Gajdar. |
