During the war Kantorovich was mobilized, and hir serivice was to teach military engineers in a higher school of military engineers. First time he was a private navy soldier and met some difficulties with military discipline. But rather quickly he attain a proper rank, and the only problem appeared after the war, then the Defence Ministry should recognize the necessity to demobilize him. |
